That has nothing on snow during a thunderstorm. Or the Ice Storm of '98. Of course, a hail of bullets is something I have yet to experience.

Got my contributor's copy of This Mutant Life that was sent to my sister's house today. Kinda cool to see my work in print.

Thank you, thank you. I just hope to hear more good news in the not too distant future about Xenoearth itself.

Yes!
"Looks like any legal arguments against Fox News North may soon be over, as Pierre Karl Péladeau announced yesterday that Quebecor (parent company of Sun Media) is dropping its demands for special government treatment for the right-wing “controversially Canadian” cable news channel. This is a big change from the first application Sun News TV made in which they effectively demanded the government force cable and satellite operators to put them on the dial of every TV in the nation. When the CRTC shot them down, the since-departed head of Sun News, Kory Teneycke, bragged that “we’ll get exactly what we’re asking for at the end of the day.” Now the Globe and Mail is reporting that Quebecor has decided that since they won’t get what they want, they’re going to stop trying."

Now if only we could get Faux News off the air state-side...
Just looked up over split and god damn, I can't even do a normal split. Keep it up.

No kidding, eh? That stuff's garbage and misleads everyone. You have to have only half a mind to realize that, yet so many people watch it.
pics someday (jk)
Re: Round Table Positivity Thread
@ Clare: What do you mean j/k? Pics for sure if you can get them. I had to look up what exactly that is as well and, uh, ow.
Umm, my mother is buying three houses as an investment. So far we have 1/3. I get to pick which one I want, the other two she's going to rent out for however long she wants before selling it off (I imagine it'll be like ten years). Feeling very spoiled right now.

Re: Round Table Positivity Thread
That's a good idea, especially while you're in university. It's common here for parents to buy a house, throw their kid in it while they're in school, and make money by getting 2+ more roommates in the house.

Good for you, Josh
As for me, I am pumped up for this Saturday night, that's for sure. I am going to a Tattoo/Sex toys party, I am undecided between two different tattoos that I want to get....well three actually.
*SIGH* Decisions, Decisions

Re: Round Table Positivity Thread
MKing, how'd the party turn out?
My dad's surprise birthday party was yesterday. Had a great turnout--about 40 people made it out of the 60 people who'd RSVP'd--& got lots of pictures. Dad really had no clue, so it was awesome to pull one over on him for once.
