I can see exactly what you mean by the "overpowering" taste, and that is another side of the overall bane for me indeed. I should have suspected that diet plays a role too, but in my experience, my ex's taste varied greatly, while ARM's is often the very same no matter what he eats/how active he is (mind you, ARM tastes a hell of a lot better than my ex, though it's still nasty I guess).
