mi-cuit is French for half-cooked. It fit and still fits my general impression of myself. There's always room for growth.

All twitchy like. Things are changing quite rapidly around me, and I'm trying to cope.

6. What got you into astrology?

The train wreck that was my relationship with a Libra first led me to think seriously about the applicability of astrological concepts.

7. What is your view on astrology?

I believe that the signs and planets are impressions Jung's archetypes condensed and applied.

8. How did you stumble over Constellation Chamber?

The old chamber led to the new chamber.

9. What's your grasp on astrology?

Expanding. I would say it's intermediate at this point although the interest has flagged slightly since its initial burst.

10. What are you hoping to find here?

Insight and people to gain it from and share it with.

My north node is pushing me towards Aries... *gets pushed towards Aries*

Pluto. I find its nature as an unstoppable, subversive force of deconstruction and rebirth quite appealing.

Thanks for restoring this quiz, mi-cuit, and you did a really top-notch job of the restored posts I asked you to do! You really singled out everything that was useful and important, fantastic job!

1. Name/Nickname:

I'm Dinny Dimanche and you may call me Dinny, but my real name is Olivia in case you were interested.

2. Story behind username:

My full name (surname omitted) is actually Din-Olivia Grace. I don't like the way "Olivia" sounded, so I begun to use the other part of my hyphenated name to refer to myself. Over time, for some reason beyond me, people who weren't even connected to one another (i.e. friends from school, friends online, and friends from out-of-school) all started calling me "Dinny" at roughly the same time.

Why? They said it sounded "cute", and I needed a "cutesy" name. And the name just stuck.

3. Your hobbies and interests:

Reading (fine literature) and writing. Philosophy, particularly the areas of epistemology, critical reasoning, classical and formal logic, and moral philosophy/ethics. Chess. Debating. Live theater and opera. Collecting cute things. Animals, animals, animals.

4. Education/Career:

Finished highschool in 2009, graduated from Mercedes College and scored in the top 6% of the country. Was accepted into Law and Legal Practice double degree at Flinders Law school for 2010 - 2014. Not sure about future career yet, although I'm interested in becoming a mediator, barrister, or prosecutor (criminal law specifically). I'm interested in medical law, animal law, international law and human rights law.

5. Tell a bit about yourself:

Hard to say. I guess I would describe myself as holding a great work ethic, being highly organized and being perfectly balanced between introverted and extroverted. Does that sound like an employment interview to you? God. Anyway, on the flipside, I've been told I can often be argumentative and aggressive, and scathingly critical. Also fat.

6. What got you into astrology?

The same way most girls do - by doing compatibility/synastry readings, then wanting to know more.

7. What is your view on astrology?

It's interesting, but I vest more faith in the Eastern/Chinese Zodiac than I do Western, because it's principles are more applicable. I have also studied some aspects of Chinese tradition (vast and varied as it is), and the zodiac forms a very interesting interplay with some common Chinese principles, whereas the Western zodiac seems inapplicable to me.

Generally, I don't believe that astrology influences one's future and/or personality.

8. How did you stumble over Constellation Chamber?

Nova's site whilst looking up some astrology-related info, which took me to what back then was the Wolf Pack (back in 2007). My God, we're three years old and several of the members from the first forum actually still remain...

I first saw the word "starfire" in The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards. I added "song" to it because I'm always singing or listening to music.

3. Your hobbies and interests:

Music, music, music. Especially in the singing area. I love to write, read, bake, photography, & learn what I can & share that knowledge with others. I love animals, particularly cats & birds. I can't stand to see them hurt or restrained in any way. (The pictures from the BP oil spill are heartbreaking--especially the ones of the birds that are so covered in oil they can't fly. & the turtles that are so tired from the effort of swimming while completely coated in crude that they just give up.)

4. Education/Career:

Let's see... I graduated high school in 2003 with high honors. I'm the chief editor of Jaime Vendera's book Raise Your Voice Second Edition, which came out in November 2007. I've been the main editor for several other books right now, but I can't name the titles or authors just yet since the authors are looking for the right publishers.

5. Tell a bit about yourself:

I'm a jumble of paradoxes. I like being touched, but I'm not a touchy-feely kind of person. I like & need my space, both personal & physical, so I can't handle clingy people. I can't stand cluttered spaces; I feel suffocated. I'm deeply sensitive although I don't show it on the outside, & I've developed the tendency to say what I think when I think it, which occasionally lands me in hot water. I forgive easily but I don't forget. (This depends on what you've done, of course.) I like being around people that support me, yet I sometimes push them away when I need them the most. When I'm working on something that requires my focus & is extremely detail-oriented, it's very hard for me to snap out of that mindset when I'm done or taking a break from the project, so I come across as b*tchy when people talk to me while I'm in that state.

Otherwise, I'm pretty even-keeled. I get along with just about everyone (with a few exceptions). I'm patient, sometimes to a fault, & I feel bad for those I meet when I can't understand what they say due to their thick accent, mumbling, etc. since I'm hard of hearing. Ah well.

6. What got you into astrology?

Always had an interest in it. It comes & goes though.

7. What is your view on astrology?

I think it's easy to fall into the trap of "astrology answers all", but it doesn't. It's great for answers to some questions you may have, but it's not the be all, end all that some people want/wish it to be.

I did a search for my moon & ascendant signs in relation to my sun sign & this (Nova's site) was one of the first results that came up on Yahoo's search engine.

9. What's your grasp on astrology?

Hmm. Still beginner. I've learned a bit about the asteroids though. I tend stay with a section until I've absorbed & internalized it before I move on to something else.

Knowledge, although don't expect me to chip in much, lol. Online socialization.

I’ve had many nicknames but I’d rather not give out my full name right away. Nickname OL is obviously Wags.

2. Story behind username:

Well… Wags is short for “Wagner,” a name in the family. My aunt and uncle named their dog Wags, and my other uncle used Wags as a screen name or password and I remember seeing it and liking it. Thus… Wags was born. I’ve used it ever since.

Most people think the word to mean to waver and/or sway back and forth, which is what my mind does often. You’d swear I was a Libra.

Hobbies: reading, lazing about, coming up with crazy ideas, taking a walk, gazing at clouds/stars, drawing, singing, attempting to play keyboard, surfing the internet and as a result obtaining random useless knowledge.

Aaron. Can't really make a nickname out of that, but there was a short time when I was called Blueberry.

2. Story behind username:

Argent Fang or the plural version Argent Fangs was a group of freedom-fighters that were part of a D20 Modern campaign that I was running that was loosely based on a hypothetical post 2012 Earth. The ideas that I used from that campaign are being loosely used to form the novel series of my creation called "Xenoearth." "The Argent Fangs" is the current working title for the second book in the series. (a work in progress)

3. Your hobbies and interests:

Reading, Writing (obviously), Gaming, and just about anything that can hold my interest for any period of time. I can discuss philosophy but most of my ideas stem from my own observations on life and not through any sort of study on the material.

4. Education/Career:

HS Diploma and some college. I was going to school for Computer Science years ago, but only recently decided to take a complete 180 and started writing. I MIGHT go back to school for English or something, but we'll see what happens.

I'm from the cold northeast, lived there for most of my life until about a year ago when I migrated down into bible-belt country. Not the best place for an atheist to live, but no one seems to mind that much when they find out I'm not a Christian.

My parents more than anything, but I've always had a healthy interest in the occult or anything that would be outside the mainstream.

7. What is your view on astrology?

It's ancient psychology from what I have observed on the matter. I don't know how much real stock I would put in the subject, but it remains a quaint curiosity to me even to this day.

Originally, it was from a friend that showed me a Celtic Astrology section that I thought was kind of amusing. I got around to perusing the site and noticed the forums by chance and thought the place looked like a healthy group of intellectuals. As for the new forum, checked on the old site, saw the link to the new site and there you go.

The Garden's Kiss...the kiss of Judas...the Betrayal of Christ. According to the Synoptic Gospels, it occurred in the Garden of Gethsemane after the Last Supper. Judas Iscariot identified Jesus to the guards/soldiers by way of a kiss, ending in his arrest and subsequent crucifixion. He made a bargain with the chief Jewish priests, agreeing to hand him over for thirty pieces of silver. Though nonreligious, I associate Judas with a fictional character I have roleplayed for a fair few years and thought it a fitting username.

Writing and reading. Politics. Theology. Medicine, psychology (biological and developmental, particularly), and the application of such. Accounting and finance. Civil law, criminal law, and corporate law. Art History. Women’s Rights. Anthropology. I also have a penchant for cooking and collecting recipes.

I am a student. A career has yet to be decided on, though my scope is narrowed in on medicine, law, culinary arts, or journalism.

I have recently come to the realisation that my introverted nature is preventing me from prospering and I must step out of the box I long ago placed myself in if I ever want to be the person I aspire to be. I need to kick my own backside if I ever want to succeed and I *want* to succeed…so let the backside-kicking commence.

In depth research of aforementioned fictional character. I wanted to understand him better than I did and through astrology, I accomplished what I set out to do. Well, that and Personality Typing, Enneagram Numbers, and Numerology.

It is not an exact science, like psychology (or, rather, certain aspects of psychology). I treat it more as a hobby, but a hobby that affirms what I know about myself/others in ways I never knew something could.

Amateur.

I started a playful "cult" my freshman year of hs among some of the more outcast childrens. Gorgishmork was our god of war/aggression.

Interested in everything. Participate in almost anything with the right people. I've spent much of my free time sitting on the internet learning about whatever catches my eye during the day. Weightlifting, climbing in parks, Capoeira, refinishing/restoring my motorcycle, shooting pool...thats been the day to day for the last few months.

Dropped out of college twice. Went to Wyotech, got a job at a lil' Porsche place next town over for two months. Back to working at the hospital kitchen. Playing it by ear.

I like things. New things. Only for a short while though. Much prefer to focus on the lives of those around me instead of my own. I on again off again into cars/bikes, always trying to live minimal, used to try and improve myself every day in some way, but haven't done that in a long while. I guess you'd say my parents? I had this weird love thing with the moon. When ever I was up at night crying as a baby, if the moon was out my parents would take me to where I could see it and say "Mun." I'd get quiet and just stare O.o. In hs I fell HARD for this wannabe Wiccan goth chick, with a mild interest in astrology. So I started learning more. The more I learn about myself/Leonians the more it makes me believe in astrology.

I like what I see. I feel its been accurate thus far. Did the natal chart thing on Astrolabe and decided to see how accurate astrology can get.
