Something interesting I noticed about Ascs is that they often hire the Asc to portray the Sun person's life in movies.

For example:
Raging Bull was about Jack LaMotta (Cancer Sun), and Robert De Niro (Cancer Asc) was playing him.
Blow was about George Jung (Leo Sun), and Johnny Depp (Leo Asc) was the one portraying.

Yes, I imagine that a carefully (or not so carefully) constructed public image would probably be representative of the Midheaven, the commonly given example being Marylin Monroe, who epitomized the sensual hyper-feminine seductress of her Taurus Midheaven.

However, having an ascendant compatible with the characteristics the actor is expected to portray might certainly help play the role more convincingly (and the audition go better).

Trent Reznor has a Scorpio midheaven and Capricorn ascendant. I'm only making a quick post here, but considering that he rarely smiles in public and his art has crossed a few borders in his prime, I'd say it suits him quite well.

I think it's her attention to detail, organization and hard work that I see. It looks like her performances are carefully planned out, right down to the color of her bubble dress (best outfit ever). I read her wiki page and I think she said she was very hard-working in school too. Every Virgo-influenced person I know (asc, moon, sun, even mars) goes through a lot of quirky stages. Obsessed with one thing, then the next.

You know... they say that, but I've never noticed that with Gems and Sagittarians. Here's to going through exes, but they fit the signs - Sagittarius: theatre and nothing else. Had some weird band projects, but that's about it. One Gem - computer science geek (specifically net security - yawn) and liked weird music. No personality outside of that. Another Gem - is a vocalist, got a degree in voice studies, teaches choir and only joins voice groups and doesn't really know how to talk about anything but. My sister married a Gem and he has loads of hobbies, ranging from engineering to painting to frisbee. That's the only one I can think of.

A Sag I knew, was the former drummer in my band. A bit of a sucker for a laugh even at the expense of getting stuff done, he was kind of a slave to his own amusement. Used always ask me for reassurance on a lot and had the tendency to be moody, never showed it though. He can't really focus on anything, bit lazy too. Might have been to do with his Cap Moon?

One Sag was a good friend of mine, very keen on science and design and a very good laugh. Extremely submissive but calm on the surface. Extremely clever but not academic, he's an avid drinker but he was once told me how the vodka we were drinking was made. God, I miss him and his awesome quirkiness.

I like Emma Watson. Let's see... her ascendant is apparently Virgo and midheaven in Gemini. She's still pretty young, so it's hard to say how well the Virgo ascendant suits her because as a child star, she wouldn't be portrayed like most other stars where the dirtiest things come out about them. However, she does come across as intelligent, well-spoken, wholesome and has a lot of hobbies apparently. Plus, she did really well in school (hooray for wiki).

Yeah, she is a really cute girl. She has defiantly grown into a young sophisticated woman. You know what's funny....she went from being my least favorite in the Harry Potter series, to being my favorite. I can't take my eyes off of her....it's like, Harry and Ron, who?

On topic: If there is any celebrity Asc I am dying to know, that would be Cate "the great" Blanchett. I have a feeling that she may be a Virgo or a Libra. She is the epitome of Classy.
